GEMS -- Gospel Express Ministries South

Gospel Express Ministries South was formed in 1990 at the request of a Florida Department of 
Corrections' Chaplin to assist with prison ministry. For more than 30 years we have supported missionary chaplains who routinely preach and teach Bible studies, pray, and give Bibles to incarcerated offenders in North Florida Prisons.

Currently, GEMS supports 12 chaplains, who in July 2026, traveled 10,986 miles, spent 356 hours and ministered to 6,496 inmates. These chaplains report regularly to the Board of Directors. You are invited to attend a Board Meeting where you can hear their reports given at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Berean Christian Fellowship.
