Chaplain Lanette Escobar

Lanette Escobar joined GEMS in 2016. She is a motivational and spiritual speaker, and author of "A Journey Behind Prison Walls", travels and teaches that life's trials and tribulations are not meant to break us, but make us, if we would only allow them to. After enduring a hard childhood, rape, the loss of a child, physical and mental abuse, and falsely imprisoned, Lanette learned how to forgive and heal. In doing this, she has been able to embrace life and live! Her passion is to teach others how to do the same.
