Chaplain Freddie Rouse

Freddie Rouse has been a lifetime resident of Tallahassee. He has been married to Sharon Rouse for the past 10 years and they have 12 grandchildren. He is currently employed as the Adult Drug Court Counselor with Disc Village. He is a graduate of TCC, Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and he holds a Master of Social Work degree with a certification in the Social Leadership program from Florida State University.

Freddie has been a volunteer Chaplain with (GEMS) Gospel Express Ministries for the past 11 years. As a GEMS Chaplain he visits several correctional institutions in the Big Bend area and serves as a board member of Big Bend After Reentry Coalition (BBARC) whose work in reference to reentry and community base care programs. He has been a 24/7 Dad men facilitator for the past 7 years with Living Stones International and now has partner with Sam Carter of Carters Corner to continue this service in the prison, and Leon County Jail. His love for people and engaging them where they are is one of his lifelong passions. He continues to connect men and women who are returning citizens to housing and job opportunities once they are released from any correctional institution. He is a new member’s instructor at F.W.P.C under the leadership of Pastor Quincy Griffin and he is a tireless disciple of the kingdom of God serving where needed.
