Chaplain Freddie Rouse
Freddie joined GEMS in 2017. He is married to Sharon Rouse. They have 6 grand-kids with one due on Sept 23, 2017. Freddie has lived in Tallahassee all his life and is a new members instructor at Family Worship and Praise Center Church. He is currently a graduate student at FSU School of Social Work Leadership tract and also volunteers at Gadsden Reentry, Wakulla CI and Apalachee CI. Freddie is employed at Living Stones International as a case manager and reentry coordinator.
Freddie has a criminal history that dates back to 1984. In 1999 while he was doing 11 months and 29 days in Leon Co. Jail, he was drawn by the Holy Spirit to partake in the assignment of leading the Bible Study and church program as an inmate on several occasions. He has been trained and molded by the Holy Spirit to go back into the prison and minister to men that need Jesus! His experience of pain, suffering and self-induced misery has made him who he is today. Freddie says, "I love being a part of the GEMS Prison Ministry!"
